Toklat River, Denali National Park. Alaska

The Denali National Park and Preserve is home to some magnificent scenery; forests, cliffs and glaciers can be explored, as well as the Toklat River which is a merging of all the glacial rivers. The main focal point of this park is Mount McKinley, also known as Denali, which is the highest mountain peak in the United States with an impressive summit elevation of 6194 metres above sea level. Tourists and locals alike frequent this destination for some adventures in the forms of hiking and mountaineering, and in the winter, dog-sledding, and even snow mobiling. The wildlife found here extends to moose, dall sheep, grizzlies and black bears, beavers, salmon, and trout.
