Cottesloe Beach - Perth

Although Australia may be well known for its surf spots, this beach by the Indian Ocean is more oriented for families than for surfers, as the waves are not very big. This is depicted in the photograph which portrays relatively flat turquoise-blue water flowing onto the clean white sand of the beach. The calming tones depicted by the two shades of blue, white sand, and white clouds, perfectly evoke a sense of relaxation and enjoyment.
