It was an extremely surreal afternoon at this location. Not a breath of wind. The silence was deafening.

Castle Hill is a popular location amongst avid rock climbers as it is littered with limestone boulders of all shapes and sizes. Although the area is a private station the public is granted access as it is part of the Kura Tawhiti Conservation area. Anyone that has been to this area before can relate to it's uniqueness. The Dalai Lama himself called it the "spiritual centre of the universe" when he visited in 2002.
