Canola Field - York. Western Australia
York is the oldest inland town in
Western Australia, and has a long history of being a purely
agricultural community, specializing in sheep and wheat. This canola,
therefore, used to be the lifeline of the town, and so the
significance and importance of this subject matter becomes more
apparent when armed with this knowledge. York has now evolved into
more of a tourist-driven town, acting as host to several outdoor
music festivals.
