Persistence - Crawley Boat Shed. Perth, Western Australia

This is the resulting image of years of patience and persistence. An iconic location on the shores of the Swan River is the Crawley Boatshed. The Crawley Boatshed would have to be one of the most photographed locations within Western Australia by Landscape Photographers. For this reason I set out to create an image that was different to all the cliche' photographs out there. In the end it took a feroscious storm that battered Perth and the surrounding suburbs to bring the conditions I was after.  A very high tide coupled with gale force winds. The effect of the milky water and blur of the clouds was created using a long exposure. Persistence paid off.


Each LIMITED EDITION piece increases in price by 20% for each bracket of 10 sold until the final numbered print of the series is sold.

All limited edition prints are signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
